Nicholas Paolucci, AIA
Founder / Architect AIA, NCARB, CPHD, LFA, WELL AP, LEED AP Homes
At a young age, Nicholas Paolucci (Nick), a native Rhode Islander, was captivated by the historic homes of Wickford Village and excelled at math and art in school. After completing Auburn University’s five year accredited architecture program, he returned to New England and gained valuable work experience at two small firms in Massachusetts. Once obtaining licensure, Nicholas Paolucci founded MASS Architect in order to apply what he learned in both school and work and to provide clients with a higher level of service. The small business continues to grow after a move from Milton to East Greenwich and is now well established in New England’s design community.
Nicholas Paolucci’s cozy office in his own net-zero home allows him to be productive and flexible for both clients and family. Each day, he spends quality time with his strong-willed daughter and one year old son and enjoys cooking, running, and traveling with his wife, Jaimie. New England will always be home to the Paoluccis and MASS Architect.
Our Values
Paolucci understands homeowners’ time and budgetary limitations and always delivers quality drawings on time and under budget. Nicholas Paolucci designs each project for the individual client’s taste, not his own agenda. He enjoys working on a variety of homes with different architectural styles and strives to create spaces that look intentional as if they always belonged. As a LEED Accredited Professional, Paolucci also implements green building practices and energy efficient standards in every project with the utmost care for environmental sustainability.
Our Values
At MASS Architect, we believe that a well-designed home should feel intentional—like it has always belonged. Current projects under construction in 2025 include a full house renovation in Reading, a new custom home in Wayland, and a large addition in Lexington with Highline Construction.
Our Approach
Design-Build Collaboration

Tailored & Client-Centered Designs
Every home is unique, and so is our approach. We listen carefully to homeowners' needs, translating their vision into meticulously crafted spaces that reflect their lifestyle, not just current trends.
